With Easter around the corner, let’s talk about Lilies. There are many lilies can be toxic to our pets. Some of those include; Early Day Lily, Tiger Lily, Easter Lily and more. True lilies and Day lilies have been related with renal failure in cats. Even with treatment, prognosis is very guarded. Signs are vomiting, lethargy, anorexia and can start happening within 2 hours. It may go away for about a da24 hours but will return. Dogs with toxicity exposure can result in similar symptoms to stomach upset. Please visit your veterinarian immediately if your pets have gotten into your plants.
