FeLV & FIV
January 10, 2017

FeLV stands for Feline Leukemia Virus and FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. These 2 viruses are most commonly found in outdoor cats that have been exposed to a cat that is positive. This is why it’s important to keep your cats indoors, to limit the chances for exposure and contraction of these fatal diseases. Cats that are outdoors needs to be routinely tested for these diseases.
