Giardia & Coccidia

These are yet, other parasites that infect the intestinal tract. Most commonly found in puppies and kittens but occasionally in adult dogs and cats. Both are transmitted orally and can cause diarrhea. Giardia is so small it can be difficult to detect under microscope analysis so, there is a specific test for it. Coccidia on the other hand, is very small as well but can be seen under a microscope.
