Canine Hip Dysplasia

What is hip dysplasia? It's an abnormality in the development of the hip's ball and socket joint that occurs during a puppy growing phase. Some animals don't experience pain until they reach an older age. It's important to monitor weight as this can cause more discomfort to a dog that has this condition.
